With just under 100 days until Rock Fest, we’ve unfolded the details and are beginning to iron them out. We’re in full swing on planning things for you to do and are non-stop on making this the best Rock Fest ever.
We know you’ve been busy planning your summer, but in case you haven’t yet gotten your Rock Fest plans together, we wanted to give you the inside scoop on tickets & campsites.
Here’s the Scoop:
3-Day Concert Tickets
VIP & Reserved Lawn seats are sold out for Rock Fest 2018, but that doesn’t mean you’re not going to get your monies’ worth in General Admission. Add in the fact that 3-Day GA tickets are only $109 (they’ll be increasing to $129 at midnight on May 5) and Rock Fest becomes an event you can’t afford to miss.
There are 68 bands scheduled to perform at this year’s Rock Fest over three days. If you math that, it means that it’ll cost you less than $2 per band. When you think about it, there’s not much you can get for under $2 … except Ramen noodles. While Ramen noodles are delicious, they’re not gonna sustain your brain or fuel your passionate metal souls.
Don’t just watch the show, live in the show. Buy a Pit Pass to your favorite Main Stage show and get access to the area right in front of the stage, between stage and VIP. Pit passes range from $5-$35 and can be added to your cart from the “Pit Pass” tab, here.
Wednesday’s Bonus Bash
A huge perk that’s exclusive to 3-Day ticket holders (VIP, Res Lawn & GA) is the invitation to Wednesday’s Bonus Bash. This pre-party includes sets by Ace Frehley, Skid Row, Autograph, SOiL and more. Vendors will be open and drinks available for purchase, gates open on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.
Single-day tickets are a great option to see your favorites perform. Tickets are currently $79 (increasing to $89 on May 5) and get you access to all five stages on the day you purchase. To view single-day lineups check out this post, visit the lineup page on the Rock Fest website, or look at this sweet graphic:
Electric Campsites – There are sill electric campsites available in the North Campground. Each electric campsite includes (1) 30-Amp hook-up and (1) 15-Amp hook-up. Electric Campsites are selling for $305 for the entire weekend. If you wait until May 5th to purchase, they’ll be priced at $325.
General Campsites – The South Campgrounds is filling up and sites are selling quickly, but there are still sites available in 2nd Ave (East and West) as well as 3rd Ave. A General Campsite costs $95 for the entire weekend (goes up $10 on May 5).
Stellar Tips about Campsites:
- All sites measure at 18” x 40” and are good for up to 6 people.
- Each campsite includes (1) Campground Access Pass (wristband to get into the campgrounds), (1) Car Parking sticker for a vehicle on your site, and (1) Camper Sticker that you attach to your sleeping unit. Everyone needs to have a Campground Access Pass, they can be purchased additionally, here.
- There are over 7,000 campsites on the Rock Fest grounds. If a site tends to be wet or is on too steep of a slope, we will not sell that site. That being said, bring enough blocking for your RV just to be safe so you can sleep comfortably.
- Set up your campsite early the week of Rock Fest and get entered to win Meet & Greets. Early camper set up is only during gate times: Sunday, 10am-6pm and Monday & Tuesday, Noon-8pm.
Rock-It Club Card
If you LOVE your campsite location and you want to secure it for Rock Fest 2019 (which will be July 18-20), we encourage you to purchase a 2018 Rock-It Club Card. There are benefits to having one of these cards, including getting entered to win various prizes, a free t-shirt (pick up at this year’s Rock Fest), discounts at the Merch Booth, and the option to renew your campsite for 2019 BEFORE they go on sale to the general public. Rock-It Club Cards also give you the option to move your site before the general on-sale. You must have one Rock-It Club Card for each campsite you want to renew/move.
Now That You Know…
Purchase your campsites and tickets as soon as you can to save precious $$$ that you can reallocate to other cool things, like Rock Fest Merch or some Pit Passes! We’ll see you in July! #rockfest2018
