I Prevail broke through in 2014 with their debut EP, HEART vs MIND, and a Taylor Swift cover. Their edgy version of “Blank Space” generated over 22 million views on YouTube and 17 million-plus Spotify streams. Hailing from Italy, Lacuna Coil has had a career spanning over two decades. Their big US break? Ozzfest in 2004. Right in the height of their successful Comalies album. How would the band describe themselves? “We’ve fused dark and horror elements with real life situations and have created a metaphor,” says Andrea Ferro. DED mixes horror and dark imagery to create their sound. Joe Cotela states the band wants to “make the listener feel like how you feel after you’ve watched a really good horror movie – on edge, jittery…and very much alive.” DED‘s debut album, Mis-An-thrope, has produced top 20 singles, gotten them spots on the biggest tours and garnered millions of YouTube views. Jacob Cade has been honing his guitar skills since he was 4. Now at age 20, Cade is on a mission to preserve classic Rock and Roll. “I can’t see myself doing anything else with my life. I feel that my calling is to bring rock n roll back to the forefront of music,” says Cade. The young star will be kicking off Saturday’s Main Stage performances at 11:40am.
